




Victoria S. Madden (Vicci), Executive Director of West Shore Unified, has been a WSSD resident since 1992 when she moved from the state of DE to Lewisberry PA and then subsequently moved to Lemoyne PA. She is the parent of a current WSSD student and of a Cedar Cliff graduate. Vicci has participated and supported public education in the WSSD through her participation as Washington Heights PTO President, Elementary Room Parent, Family Fun Day coordinator, Famous Artist presenter, Holiday Shop Coordinator, Talent Show Coordinator, Middle School dance Chaperone, as well as CCHS Track and Field Booster President and THON Chaperone to name a few. She is currently the Executive Director for the West Shore Unified non-profit organization.

Nancy Snyder, President of West Shore Unified, has been a resident of Fairview Township for 30 years. Before her children graduated from Red Land High School, she was an active supporter of music programs, sports teams, and the PTO. Nancy recently retired from serving in public schools in a variety of teaching and administrative roles. She is a passionate advocate for effective public schools. Nancy currently works with preservice teachers at Messiah University and serves on the board of the West Shore Foundation.

Gabrielle Chidester, Vice President of West Shore Unified, contributes her upbringing as the daughter of a teacher in the Massachusetts public school system and attendance at fine arts magnet middle and high schools as factors in her commitment to education and community. She has lived in Lower Allen for the last 24 years, serving in volunteer roles with the Highland PTO, Cedar Cliff Youth Softball and Basketball, Cedar Cliff Field Hockey Booster Club, WSSD District Voice Committee, and various positions on her neighborhood association.

Jan Jarrett, Treasurer of West Shore Unified, has lived in the West Shore School District in Lisburn for more than 50 years. Her children and grandchildren attended West Shore Schools. As a former non-profit executive, she is currently a consultant to non-profit organizations, providing administrative, communications, research, and strategic planning services.

Sam Andes is a 1964 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. He went on tograduate from the University of Pennsylvania and the University ofMichigan Law School. He has resided in the West Shore School District formost of his life. His three children and three grandchildren attend or attended the West Shore School District. He practiced law in Cumberland County for more than forty years, representing and working with many West Shore residents. He is retired and lives in New Cumberland.

Marvin Beshore is a lifelong resident of Fairview Township. A 1966 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, his six children and two local grandchildren all graduated from Red Land. Marvin's commitment to our local public schools led him to be elected and serve as a member of the West School board of school directors from 1985-1993 during which tenure he served as board president or vice-president for four years. He is an almost-retired attorney and, with his wife, Anne Marie, and son Matthew, is a proprietor of Beshore Hill Farm which produces and markets USDA certified organic vegetables.

Heather M. Keller has been a lifelong WSSD resident and graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 2004. She is passionate about helping others, and goes the extra mile in researching as a part of her advocacy work. Her attention to detail helps her in her day-to-day work as a human resources professional. She and her husband are the proud aunt and uncle to a niece and great-nephew, and in her free time Heather enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and crafting.

Sue G. Smith is a third generation New Cumberland resident and a 1973 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. Her three sons are graduates of Red Land and her daughter graduated from Cedar Cliff. Sue served as Fairview/Mt. Zion PTO President, Junior Achievement volunteer, was active in Allen Middle School PAC, and was Chair of the Cedar Cliff Post Prom Party. She served 12 years on the West Shore Board of School Directors where she was a board representative to West Shore Rec, HACC, and Cumberland Perry Career Technical Center. Sue continues to serve in West Shore schools as a Junior Achievement volunteer.
