Beginning in the late 1700s and into the early 1800s, visionaries like Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and reformers like Horace Mann, advocated and fought hard for government-funded universal public schools. They believed that education was the key to solving a host of societal problems and that, ultimately, everyone benefits.

Today, the fight continues. Public education is under attack and the stakes are high. It’s time to take a stand.

Dr. King warned us of the treacherous road ahead:

“In the end, we will not remember the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”

Will you stand with us?
We are all in different stages of life and therefore, some of us may have more time than others to devote to advocacy efforts like this. Even if your time is limited, you can still support public education and be influential in your own social circles.

Level 1 provides options for those who have limited time but are still willing to stay informed of district issues and show their support. Each level adds some additional opportunities for involvement. Select what’s right for you. We welcome any and all support!
